Prior to incorporating as a non-profit, DOMA was solely dedicatd to the production of musical theater. DOMA was formed by Dolf Ramos and Marco Gomez, the DO and MA in DOMA. Their collaboration began in 2004 and since then DOMA has produced several award winning musical revivals, new musicals, and youth programs. The musicals, reviews amd awards are located at the end of this presentation.
DOMA’s productions have been mainly in intimate theatres in Los Angeles, mainly at the Met Theatre in Los Angeles. DOMA has left its residency on December 31, 2015 to move to a larger vemue and continue its productioms. Its first step was to become a producing partner in the currently running production of “An Act of God” at the Ahmanson Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles.

After a stellar performance, Mel Brooks ran backstage to congratulate the cast on a job well done. DOMA Theatre Company would like to thank Mr. Brooks not only for his great surprise attendance, but for providing the great material for the production for which would not be possible without him.

The 2014 Student Fringe was a new format, featuring a full day of in-class workshops. This was a great way to further the goals of involving students in the spirit of the Fringe, and showing them different types of artists who work in many different fields. From slam poetry, stage combat, and dance… all super fun!
Dorian’s Descent Choreographer Tania Possick participated with by gracing the students with her years of experience by teaching a dance class. DOMA would like to thank the Student Fringe for giving us the opportunity to be involved with this great effort to reach out to our future showbiz candidates.
